If it was just financial security she was looking for, she had better options than Abhishek. Not that she needed it though, she makes big bucks herself and is ten times the star Abhishek is.
Abhishek is a genuinely nice guy, with a clean image and complements her beautifully. Plus he makes her laugh like crazy, she cannot stop giggling happily when she's by his side. And he doesn't cheat when most in the industry do. Why should she not marry him? There's not a single reason.
But yes, I'm sure she did make sure Abhishek comes from a good family (one of the reasons Aishwarya's parents did not approve Salman). Don't we all do that? Would you like it if your parents married you off to a beggar? Or would you seek something like that for your kids? No right? Because you want someone just as good as you as your partner if not better.
It's been seven years since they got married, and they appear happier than ever. If this is not love, I don't know what is.

Yes of course it mattered where he came from & his family & why should it NOT? She has always been an excessively determined & calculative lady & I see no reason for her to be crucified because she wanted to perpetuate the lifestyle she leads & in certain ways, enhance it. Pls let's stop imagining that none of us would do the same or , that because she looks out for her interests, by default, that must mean she does not love B Jr.
She does, esp after Aaradhya. Ask anyone in the industry or why do you even need to ask? SEE her photos! She glows, she sparkles like a thousand diamonds!!! Her love if you ask me, has strengthened after their daughter has been born. There is such contentment on her face , something that I could not ever imagine on her face.
Yes she has made too many mistakes, been a bad person at certain points in Life but WHY NOT? Why does everyone assume that she must be angelic just because of her Un-believable beauty & her International Mega-Star status? She does not *owe* it to anyone to be anything but that what she wants to be or what she wants to do.
She still is far better than most others in that Industry. She has immensely strong family values, she cherishes her close ones, she could die for her family. Her Professionalism & quest for Perfection has been lauded throughout her career. She is extremely well-mannered & has done her own charity in a very quiet way. She is very dignified in all that she does esp her personal life, she is very very elegant.
Couple all that with her TRILLION DOLLAR FACE & BRILLIANT career & you would be a fool not to run after her & propose to her every-day & 5 times on Sunday!
Today she has made a very very respectful & loving marriage along-with a career that few have even the guts to dream about.
