It would to interesting to know what deepika signs, DP will be getting the best offers right now. She is the only superstar heroine, who is a decent actress. Other is Katrina. Only two superstar heroines in India right now.

Deepika was not big star when akarshan happened but now she is plus she is now a great actress. When akarshan happened she was an average actress but now that changed.

Akarshan story was not that good either but peeku indeed seems promising,

This movie has good story, deepika who's a big star and a great actress, Amit jee who is a living legend, and irfan who is a mindblowing actor.

Plus just because aarkarshan doesn't work that doesn't mean that peeku won't work.

Agree , n surely she is planning to learn acting from legends , peeku is also a strong charecter , but sujit sarkar is not the IT director of bollywood. U see the type of movie he does , not single of them has stood out . Might she is planning to take vidya balan route , but vidya balan has a tremendous script sense thats the reason she is still in deemand , when he age actress have long gone . If deepika takes up peeku along with two big budget movies than it will work or he work will go unnoticed like sonakshi sinhas lootera.
