It's still her then, but it depends on when this film will take off.

Upala KBR was right. Hrithik hasn't even given his dates and Kareena's getting impatient just waiting for this project to take off.

Bebo, please, just be a bit more patient. This was unfair to her, but if she sticks it out, I have a feeling it'll be worth it.

Don't take up some other film. Agar ek saal intezaar kiya, toh kuch aur maheene sahi

If it starts after 1 year and gets released an year after then there's no way kareena is going to be part of it unless she does some damage control to her career which has gone into pits lately.

Actresses are recycled and taken up at convenience, but you stall an entire project because of one lead actor?

I bet ya If that were an actress in HR's place, she would have long been replaced. If an actor doesn't have the dates, move on. Isnt that how it works with the girls?

You don't just leave other cast/crew members hanging for a year waiting for a project to take off.

Johar said she's still in it, but it depends on HER if she wants to wait or not. That's why his choice of words. He feels terrible that he made her wait and he'd love for her to be in it, but that means she has to keep on waiting.

Actresses have no value in BW even when the directors talks about how close he is and how she's like his sister and all that.

If Kareena actually mattered, why not just replace Hrithik and find a new actor with Kareena and just start the movie? Why sit around fiddling thumbs and wait years for the actor and then take whatever random actress who's available at the time?

It's unfortunate that Hrithik's sick but then he should just rest and relax and not worry about movies. Just let this one go and let someone else do it.

I appreciate Johar's sentiments that he still wants Kareena in it, but how unfair to expect her to keep waiting? For how long?

Johar should have long ago been professional and started hunting for a cast that WAS available. Including the lead actor.

Who else could have done it?

Btw, I strongly think Kareena should forget this movie and start doing other projects. You should not hinge your career on someone else. It's ridiculous to do that. Just find some other projects and start working. Sitting at home waiting while your career's sinking is not the right option. Then imagine if Shuddhi flops after all that.

Just forget about it and move on. Whenever Shuddhi starts, if she has time she can do it, if she's already booked, so be it.
