I don't find anything wrong with her interview. I think by "modern couple" she meant that they plan out their choices than go for usual norms.

Whether they have kids now or later it's their choice.

The thing is when indian couples are married everyone keeps asking them when a little one will come along, it can get quite irritating. My uncle has been married for 2yrs now, and any family gatherings they go to they're asked the same question over and over again, even though they told everyone they don't want children, repeatedly.

I think what kareena meant by modern is that she won't be pushed into having children by the societal norm in indian culture. Having children is a personal choice, and not wanting to have one doesn't make the woman a bad person.

You see a slightly plump married woman and you start speculating about her being pregnant...that is BS and ppl should really mind their own business... remember they used to do the same to Aish as well...

However Bebo a curt refutation would have sufficed... u arent well read by ur own admission so why make sweeping statements on sociology and other such😆

Dear Kareena, good for you that Babita didnt feel the same!😛

I dont understand what the relation between being modern and staying without getting pregnant. Look at Malaika Arora Khan,Shilpa Shetty, Aishwarya Rai, Lara Dutta, Twinkle Khanna etc. They are mothers and they carry themselves very well. Iam a mother too who got pregnant before turning 30. I never felt like I lost my modernism with the pregnancy. Infact Iam trying to be a modern mother and bring up my kids in a modern world. Kareena, stop being delusional. Education and exposure really matter. It really shows in the way one behaves and talks. And Kareena proved it too.

Okay, I agree that I've not left a stone unturned to show my displeasure at many of Bebo's illogical statements, but...

Some of you are being way too harsh you know. Saying that she doesn't deserve to be a mother or its better that she doesn't become one is just NOT done!

A pathetic statement to make by a woman on the excuse of being a "Modern Couple"..But what to do..the statement is from Mrs.KKK..Someone mentioned a mouth transplant..I think thats what she should go for..😛

She's saying that being a modern couple, she doesn't feel the NEED to have children as a societal obligation.

But she definitely needs to word everything she says in a better way.

Well you know what...either she needs to educate herself, or fans should stop defending her silly comments. You are behaving like when a politician says that women are responsible for their own rapes, then the followers, elaborate and say it means this or that. Until now, except her fans, everyone has got that how dumb she is.

I swear deb its like...so pathetic. and btw what exactly does she means by modern😕 I mean many of my professor who are below 30(younger than her, and modern too, though what definition she'll give of modernity, i dont know) have had kids, one of them had her baby during her M.A.!! so aren't they modern? About transplant...is a brain available? or proper education(btw I just wonder why these star kids behave so dumb so often? I mean they are so rich, still their family can't afford good education for them?)

3 Statements of Kareena that annoy me greatly are:

1. The whole modern couple thing

2. The whole Saif reads (omg!) and is so smart thing and Saif said this and that and he is sooo intellectual and well read. I'm sure he might be but the way she says it is annoying.

3. I am a Kapoor therefore blah blah blah.
