I'll admit that Emraan was out of line to say that about Aishwarya Rai. Mainly because she doesn't know him personally and she's never done anything wrong to him. Him calling her "plastic" was either just a joke or a cry for attention. From what I know so far, it seems more like the latter.

@LadyDabangg: Maybe what Emraan said was LESS offensive than what Sharma said, but offensive nonetheless. And the point is about freedom of speech. What is sauce for one should be so for ALL. ALL.

For me personally, i do think Nia's remark was extremely offensive and it doesn't matter whom it came from-a telly star or a Hollywood actress. All of us are hypocrites at some point but Nia came across as obnoxious in that interview or statement or whatever that was supposed to be and i'd have said the exact same thing if Jennifer Lawrence expressed similar views😆 To say that they look gigantic and she'l commit suicide if she ever looked like Vidhya reeks of psychological issues and her obsession with weight..I can bet the bashing would have been ten times more vicious if a similar comment had been made by a Kareena or Katrina😆 I still remember how Bebo was bashed when she said fat is not sexy..So yeah. i do think Nia's bashing has more to do with her outrageous statement than her identity of being a Telly actress..About Emraan, its a question of whether you like the celeb being dissed 😆 If you are an Ash fan, you are obviously gonna find it offensive..If you think she is plastic, you'l find him refreshingly honest😆 I do think Ash is plastic,so i sorta agree with him😆 All said and done, i do agree that there is a prejudice against telly actors..Hope i made sense😆

@Rogerocks- There were comments in Nia thread that how can a telly world actress can speak such things & who is she to comment and telly actresses are dumb, less educated ppl who just enter serials...as if Bollywood actors are highly educated intellectuals!
And I'm writing what I read in that thread... I'm not a fan of Nia or Aishwarya!

its not emraan fault then
its karan's
if he hadn't ask this question emraan would not answer it
he did not say this on hir own

freedom of speech-its rather misusing freedom of speech
she said that on facebook
she should realize that she is a public figure and be careful with her words

whats wrong with saying some1 is plastic?~u not hurting any1 by that comment~ when we have youngs girls and woman made to think that a being thin is good and being fat is something to be looked down upon than there is something wrong with a public figure saying that. its not about nia being a tv star bt rather whats wrong with sona or in fact daisy(she is tall not fat) being big girls if its not affecting their health in anyway than why pick on them. nia looks so unhealthy herself and she is projecting that being big size is wrong.

When it comes to weight for people its a touchy issue.

Trust me no one will like if someone is being called fat. Being to skinny is also not good.

Nia Sharma should think twice before uttering such words on weight.

Since Emraan was asked he answered what he perceives her to be. He did not go and talk about them by himself.
