^first you say his comments won't have an impact on Aamir and Ash as he is just a sleazy B-list actor and now you say he is inflicting pain on them by these comments because that means they would actually care about his opinion to feel the pain...which one is it?? make up your mind😆

They are human. It would definitely hurt. But not enough to make them retaliate.

I even think Aamir Khan is too serious and sometimes boring in real life. Even though I am a fan of his acting & movies.

Yes, even I think Aish is complete fake, plastic and looks cold. Also a very bad actress.

This is his opinion and has every right to say his perspective on stars.

Even if someone doesn't agree that Aishwarya is plastic, she's still the first one everyone thinks of when that word comes up. She's been associated with it for so long that it's bound to be the first thing that pops up when you hear her name, especially on a catty silly show like Koffee with Karan.

I don't see any big deal in Emraan saying whatever he wishes to. He normally stays out of controversy. You never hear him saying anything about anyone but it's the concept of the show. Why would anyone get so offended about everything anyway? I'm sure people call him B-list and serial-kisser and lots of other things as well. When you're a public person, people will say things! It's normal.

Aish and Aamir are not bhagwans that nobody can say anything about them. When you're a public person, you should be ready for millions of opinions about you. It's fine and it doesn't matter and won't affect anyone anyway. It's news for couple days and people laugh and forget and move on. It doesn't mean anything more to anyone.

Actually no, it is not about big guns or small ones. Anybody who passes personal remarks, especially on someone they don't even know is indeed very low and classless. And doing it on a public platform, where your words are bound to reach the people you called names makes it even worse because it will definitely hurt them. So, whoever would have done it, my stance would be the same. Please don't make it look as if I am saying it because a B-lister is saying it. Had it been anyone in his place, I'd've said the same.

There are far worse actually hurtful things than something like "boring" or "plastic"

If it wasn't about B-lister or A-lister, why did you bring in Ash's illustrious career, fame and extreme popularity and compare it to Emraan being an irrelevant serial kisser of semi-po*n films?

By that logic, I guess you can call Sachin boring because you're not into cricket, or call A R Rahman boring because you're not into music. That would be foolish. Anyway the point here is that if he had criticized a movie of his or his acting and called it boring, it would have been fine. But he passed a comment on his personality. That is just wrong.

Why would it be foolish to find Sachin or AR Rahman boring if you are not into what they do? 😕

I'm sure people would find me boring company because of my interests. It would be just a matter of fact statement about how they find my personality. I don't see any reason why people cannot be afforded this simple personal opinion.

Please continue your admiration for him.

I love how defending someone turns into admiration in these parts.

When you see your ailing son, you feel his pain. And you wouldn't want to inflict pain on someone else by passing catty comments on them. That's what I meant.

Seriously? Are we comparing pain from a real illness with "Pain" [double emphasis air quotes] caused by verbal sparring that celebrities engage in all the time?

I don't know why Aishwarya is being made out to be a pillar of virtue who never says anything about anyone. She has given her share of rude quote and pointed fingers at people either through her own mouth or through her PR.

She's responsible for turning Salman into an abuser in the world's eyes. I'm not saying she was lying. I believe her. But she's pointed fingers too. She's gone on record calling people like SRK and Sanjay Leela Bhansali "bad human beings" and she's used her PR people in very clever ways to plant articles against rivals, saying things about how Sonam Kapoor was only hired by Loreal to sell whitening products that queen Aishwarya is too pious to promote. Then she kicked up a fuss when Sonam was supposed to go to Cannes the first time. I'm sure there are lots of things like that over the years.

Her tactics and way of doing things might not be so open and blunt but she is an average person and does all the same things everyone else in the industry does. Why make her out to be some heavenly goddess who does nothing wrong and nobody can say anything about her?

Being called plastic is not that big a deal anyway. It's at least a lot better than calling other people bad human beings and such.

That's simply his opinion...and he's entitled to have one.

If you're up at the top, then you're free to take digs at others below you, like Salman with Ranbir in the past KWK episodes.

But if the reverse happens, the first thing people say is "who is he/she" and start measuring the successes of both parties. Why? It makes no sense. The same happened with Nia Sharma in a different thread. Although I don't agree with what she said, it was her opinion...but the posts after the article was posted were more "Who is she?" or "She's not going to make in Bollywood" rather than disagreeing with what she said. Since when do you need to be a big name or be a bollywood star to have an opinion on bollywood celebrities?

If you disagree with what an actor says that's fine. Everyone in this forum disagrees with XYZ on a daily basis...but why question their right to an opinion? I never understood that. They can be A-listers, B-listers, aam log...everyone should be able to state what they think without people pointing out their aukaat.
