Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network Krrish 3 has gone the Dabangg 2 way as collections have come down rapidly after the holiday period. It was a similar story with Dabangg 2 when its collections came down fast after the Christmas and New Year period was over. Like Dabangg 2, Krrish 3 has proved to be a blockbuster due to the initial and holiday period but the film has not really gone on to consolidate after the holiday period. The film looked a 200 crore nett grosser after the first 5-6 days but each week the expectations have come down as collections dropped fast. The film has grossed just a little under 174 crore nett in three weeks and the fourth week saw very limited business and the film will add just about 2-3 crore nett more taking the final total 177 crore nett.
The lifetime business of the film in its Hindi format will be the fifth highest ever after Chennai Express, 3 Idiots, Ek tha Tiger and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film is the second biggest hit of the year after Chennai Express as though the nett business will stay below Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani the distributor share will be more.
