The actress called up her supposed replacement, Deepika Padukone and forced Karan Johar to clarify that she is still in the game

News post Hrithik-Suzanne break about how Deepika Padukone could have replaced Kareena Kapoor in Shuddhi' has enraged the begum to such an extent that she went to quite a length to dispel the false rumours.?
Not only did Bebo have a word with Deepika who also happens to be her husband Saif Ali Khan's favourite co stars having worked with him in Love Aaj Kal' and Cocktail', as she was upset about some alleged quotes by Deepika's spokesperson which confirmed that she had indeed received the script for reading. But she also made a call to Karan Johar asking him to quickly clarify that she was very much a part of the movie! And so Karan was quick to post on his Twitter timeline. "Kareena Kapoor is very much a part of SHUDDHI...which stars Hrithik Roshan...directed by Karan Malhotra...the film will commence next year..."?
When Kareena Kapoor was signed on the dotted line opposite Hrithik Roshan in the film Shudhi', there were a few murmurs in the industry that this could perhaps be the last nail in the coffin for a tethering relationship between Suzanne Roshan and her husband, Hrithik Roshan who is the hero of the film. We are all aware of the relationship between Kareena and Hrithik and how Suzanne got married to Hrithik suddenly to ensure that her man does not slip away.So, now fans of the Hritheena jodi' have a reason to cheer, as they will be seen together after 12 years when Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' released. Apart from dropping out of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai', Kareena has worked opposite Hrithik Roshan in Subhash Ghai's Yaadein' and Sooraj Barjatya's Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon', both of which were flops.
