Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Aamir Khan

Recently, there was news that Aamir Khan was trying to dominate the promotions of Dhoom 3. Abhishek Bachchan had been sidelined and he had allegedly not even been invited to the music launch. Abhishek was present at one of the press meets along with Aamir but he barely got a chance to speak as Aamir basked in the spotlight. However, Abhishek Bachchan did not kick up a fuss and make an issue of it.

It's alleged that his wife Aishwarya Rai whose comeback is being eagerly awaited decided to step in and do something. She reportedly convinced Yash Raj films that this called for an apology. They did not want to upset a star of her stature considering that they are likely to rope her in for a venture. According to a source, Aditya Chopra and his team visited Abhishek and made up to him.

he didnt play any part in the music of the film!!! he doesn't feat in any song so not invitated😆

That's another reason to apologise! Not giving a single song.

I don't get it, Dhoom 2 had a bigger star cast, yet Abhishek and Uday got a song each for themselves and were a part of Dil Laga Na where the whole cast was involved.

I never believed stories of Aamir's domination but seeing the way things are doling out with this Dhoom, I am more inclined to believe them than ever.

Abhi's stock was higher when D2 was released. He was considered successful and poised for a long stint in Bollywood. Today, his relevance in Bollywood is almost the same as Uday's. He cannot expect the same treatment and projection from the producers like he got in D2. It's just the reality of the present time.

Abhishek is a thorough gentleman though. Never made a fuss about it. He probably shared it with Aishwarya and she probably felt bad for him and made her displeasure clear to Adi and convinced the team to apologise.

One thing Abhishek should do now: He should refuse to sign the next Dhoom unless he has a substantial role and equal treatment with the anti-hero. The makers will have to concede because there is no Dhoom franchise without Abhishek.

yeah but he also has to make an effort. it looks like he gets rolls out of bed onto the sets and then into bed again. he looks sloppy. from what angle does he look like a cop?? who's gonna take him seriously?

Hope he can strike back soon, he has Umesh Shukla's next with him as the lead hero, and Dostana 2, where he can shine. Also, guess Happy New Year will have a good role for him. Don't think SRK is as insecure as Aamir when it comes to sharing the screen with another hero.

ye he insulted himself in d2 and now producers insulting him in d3😆

ye the side cast had songs in d2 bt here all the songs are given to aamir and katrina!!
