R...RAJKUMAR Is Heading For Very Good Week One

''R...Rajkumar'' proved once again that critics do not matter when it comes to mass films that too directed by some one as good as Prabhu Dheva. Film defied logic and proved to be first Shahid Kapoor success in last couple of years.

Film collected 4.60-4.80 cr nett on Tuesday followed by 4.10-4.20 cr nett on Wednesday taking 6 day total to almost 44 cr nett which is a good total. Film dropped by just 10% on Tuesday from Monday which is a good sign for the film. Film is heading for 47 cr nett week one.

Film has also collected 6.50 cr nett from overseas market and 1st week total will be 7-8 cr from there. Film will dominate 2nd week too as there is no major release except small one ''Jackpot''.

Prabhu Dheva's Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starrer R... Rajkumar had a good Wednesday as the film collected around 3.85 cr on its sixth day at the box office. The film showed a drop of around 15 % % from Tuesday which is considered as a normal drop.

The lifetime box office collections of the film after 6 days has reached around 42.35 cr. The film continues to perform very well in single screen cinemas and mass dominated areas whereas in the multiplexes film is showing normal day to drops which is a good sign for the film as multiplexes tend to show bigger drops in weekdays as compared to single screen cinemas

The film has performed well at the box office and has now become the highest grosser of Shahid Kapoor crossing Kaminey (41.92cr) in just six days.The film is first successful film for Shahid Kapoor after a prolonged lean patch of almost 4 years.Now the film has to put up good numbers in the second week too as it is an expensive film with an investment of around 55 cr ( 43 cr cost of production + 12 Print and Advertising ) .However,with the weekdays performing well and an open week ahead of it ,it would not be difficult for this film to collect good numbers in its second week
