Nice topic Sneha! I think Saif, people tend to have a grudge against because of his personal life.... but

- Would u agree that Saif has groomed himself well and has improved alot since his first movies?

Oh definitely! He's moved on from those bacchu roles to some more dignified and talent hungry roles. These are the type of roles that will make him cut above the rest.

- Can he join the elite group of Khans and maybe be considered a king one day?

You never know, he could....... but Saif is too much of a comic to be taken seriously like that.

- Do u like his latest movies - Hum Tum, KHNH, Parineeta, Salaam Namaste, Being Cyprus and Omkara?

I liked Hum tum.

I loooved KHNH.

I didn't see Parineeta, heard it was good

SN was his best so far.

Being Cyrus was "A"😆

Not as King Khan, maybe Comic Khan.

Yes, I agree Saif has improved himself a lot since his first movies, his performance gets better in every movie, he has matured a lot and is doing really nice roles in multistarrers, as well as solo films, he is quickly reaching the top and i wish him luck and lots of success.

Saif has done really well, but i couldn't place him in the same group as the Khans - SRK, Salman and Aamir, the Khans have accomplished soo much and all that hardwork makes them the top, for Saif he is quickly becoming a nice actor but I'm not sure if I will consider him the King, to me SRK has taken that crown and will always be the King 😳, Saif does have the potential to be at the top and he has been picking good roles in his films.

Yes I enjoyed most of his films except Salaam Namaste and Being Cyprus, I didn't really enjoy these two but the others mentioned above were really good and he did a wonderful job.

No, I can't see him ever replacing Bollywood's King Khan since to me SRK is King Khan and will always be 😳, Saif is a good actor but not amazing like Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir, Shahrukh is the best of all and King Khan will be his forever 😳.

- Whats kind of roles would u like to see Saif doing?

I would like to see Saif in challenging roles, serious, comedy, any role that will show his potential as an actor like in parineeta and omkara, Saif should do a role where he shines through and we can see his hardwork 😳.

Overall, Saif has really improved a lot and he's a good actor, in my opinion he has shown a lot of harwork and i wish him success.

Yes, he's become MUCH better as an actor and looks more masculine

I dont think so. The King Khans have a certain overpowering charisma which Saif, though charismatic in his own way, lacks (IMO only)

Hum Tum/Salaam Namaste - He was OK. Nothing too special. Didn't like those movies too much.

KHNH - He really showed some talent here - esp in the restaurant scene with Preity - almost crying, yet faking happiness

Parineeta - He was simply annoying, but maybe it was because I really really disliked Shekhar's character.

Being Cyrus (not Cyprus😛) - Ok, this movie had real potential, but seriously, it had tonnes of overacting by most of the cast. Only Simone Singh did a good job. Saif could not even speak a few words of Parsi-Gujarati in the proper accent!

Omkara - Saif should consider becoming a villain. Seriously. His portrayal of Iago (one of Shakespeare's BEST villains) in this Hindi version of Othello was SUPERB. He really stole the show!

He's still young. If he manages to carry a film on his own and make a blockbuster or two, then he can be a "King"

As I said before, I think Saif should do more negative roles because he does MUCH better in them compared to Chocolaty Lover Boy roles

I'd like to mention "Ek Hasina Thi" - that was one of Saif's best roles, IMO. Again a negative character, but he was great and this movie made me realize his versatility.

Certainly Saif is the only Khan truly deserving and worthy of the crown of "King" among all the Khans in Bollywood. No, I am not shooting from the hip nor trying to start an all out war on this forum. Following are my arguments in favor of crowing Saif the King amongst all the Khans.

Right at the outset I believe Fardeen can be eliminated from the list of contenders. He is just a pretty boy, and eye candy who struts and frets his roles on the screen and then is heard no more, till another meaningless role brings him back to strut and fret some more. He amounts to very little in terms of acting talent and should be disqualified from even being considered!

Salman, my most favorite Khan, is becoming very stale with each movie. He has a few sparks of brilliance every now and then. Yet these sparks are few and far between. His dialog delivery leaves a lot to be desired. The puckering of the mouth like a bird's beak, the mumbling in an inaudible monotonous tone, the obvious efforts to try and be "oh so coy and soft spoken," the constant soliloquies, are all becoming very "tired tactics." These days I keep uttering "miyan mard bun" every time Salman is on screen mumbling his dialogues. If Salman can move away from these childish antics, take his acting a tad bit more seriously, and work on his dialog delivery then maybe he can stop loosing his once loyal fans, starting with me!

Aamir… ah yes, what can I say about him. I think this guy is just plain irritating. It does not matter whether he is depicting a villager, a suave city lad, a terrorist or what have you. While watching his movies I always get the feeling that I am looking at a never ending movie starring Aamir Khan with the heroines and the landscapes changing. His mannerisms, his stereo typical laugh, his patented movements and the crotch hugging pants are all so disgustingly predictable. Of all the movies Aamir has made, I think I saw glimpses of the real and original actor in a handful like Sarfarosh, 1947, Mangal Pandey, Dil Chahata Hai and Rang De Basanti. This actor has a lot of talent but he has totally misunderstood "method acting" since he has only one tired method of walking, talking, laughing and acting!

Shah Rukh the reigning King Khan really needs to wake up and smell the coffee. His kingship is in danger of being over thrown by a young, spunky and immensely talented chote Nawab from Pataudi. Shah Rukh was a breath of fresh air, experimenting with a lot of different roles at the beginning of his career and keeping us guessing and interested. We loved him in some roles, we loved to hate him in others. No matter what, we waited eagerly for his next release to love him or to hate him all over again. He was truly the King then. Somewhere along the way he linked up with Karan Johar and at first we were the beneficiaries. However like Aamir, his acting has become jaded. After KKHH, he seems to have walked into a plastic mold that has solidified this actor into a caricature of himself.

More often, like Aamir, Shah Rukh's performances have become routine, and mechanical no matter what the part. This is all the more evident in Karan Johars films. Shah Rukh seems devoid of any finesse in his role playing lately. In fact, he has boxed himself into a dull routine with the occasional surprises like Swadesh and Paheli. The credit for both those performances goes largely to the directors who kept the rein pretty tight on him. So is he King Khan today? If he is, sadly it is for all the wrong reasons. He really needs to step outside the box and earn the Crown!

Saif…wow what a bundle of surprises! With his reincarnation following Dil Chahata Hai Saif has turned in one stellar performance after another. His penchant for originality coupled with his acumen for selecting the right roles has put him way ahead of the Khan Pack and into a league of his own. Each film and role in this guy's repertoire since DCH has been a delightful experience for viewers of all ages, from all walks of life, and across all international time zones.

As Shakespeare said, "if music be the food of love play on." If freshness and talent be the force in crowning a King then, Kal Hoh Na Hoh, Darna Man Hai, Hum Tum, Ek Hasina Thi, Being Cyrus, Salaam Namaste, Parineeta and Omkara unanimously shout at Badshah SRK and command him to kneel before Shehensha Saif Ali Khan! 😊😊😊

Yeah he's a fabulous actor. Even though he hasn't had luck from the very beginning like the other khans, he can certainly become a part of the elite khans. As far as success goes, Aamir was successful in the 90's. He's been keeping a low profile this decade. And his success level has definitely dropped. So success comes and goes. Its Saif's time to shine and I think he is a more versatile actor than SRK. SRK is a lover boy. Saif has done all kinds of roles. Saif beats SRK in versatility and always will!

Well i think that we are soo used to onlyy 3 Khans..Salman, Srk,and Aamir that idon think we want anymore . but Saif is grreat!! BUt ithink he is still in the group of like Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. not King Khan.
