It's been an up and down career so far for the super-talented Shahid Kapoor . One hit followed by two, three or more flops and then again, a hit at the box-office, that's the general trend evident in his career so far. Somehow or the other, Shahid Kapoor has not been able to sustain the momentum generated by his films, such as Vivah', Jab We Met' and Kaminey' but, is the tide going to change for the better with his action-packed masala' offering R...Rajkumar' slated for release in December? Can he wipe out the memories of his recent failure Phata Poster Nikla Hero'? That seems to be very much on the cards, because the film's promos have generated a tremendous response from netizens, thanks to writer- director Prabhu Dheva's mastery over this kind of masalapaisa-vasool' genre, Shahid Kapoor's intense, rugged look in the film, Sonakshi Sinha's magnetic screen presence, exciting action sequences, catchy music by Pritam Chakraborty and mass-appealing dialogues.

The film also has a strong supporting cast comprising Sonu Sood, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mukul Devand Asrani. Musically, Mat Maari', Saadi Ke Fall Saa' and Gandi Baat' have also become popular and so, all these factors have peaked very nicely, eliciting hopes of a fantastic initial. R...Rajkumar' is well-poised to break Shahid Kapoor's sequence of flops in recent times!
