It's no news that Kareena Kapoor is doing Karan Johar's Shuddhi, and now we hear that the movie may have Pankaj Kapur playing the villain. Does that ring a bell?
It's been reported that Karan Johar has roped in Pankaj Kapur for Shuddhi starring Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor. But, hasn't Kareena worked with Pankaj earlier? What difference does it makes now?
Well, the connection here is with the certain Kapoor lad whom the actress dated for a few years. Pankaj Kapur is Kareena's ex-beau's father, who was recently in the news for looking a bride for his son.
When Kareena was dating Shahid Kapoor, there were reports that Pankaj was contemplating to direct beta with his then ladylove. As you know, nothing of that sort happened, and the duo have moved on in their lives after breaking up amicably in the year 2007 but haven't stayed on friendly terms since.
Pankaj Kapur had worked with Kareena in Main Prem Ki Diwaani Hoon, in which he played her father, and post that the two were not seen in any film. Moreover, things have also changed considerably since then. Now, the actress is even married. But then too, will Kareena be comfortable working with Pankaj?
Apparently, Pankaj's character in Shuddhi has a grey shade, and the versatile actor said yes to the role because he is very excited for it and this is something he has never done before.
