Were you around when YJHD released? He was being compared to everyone from SRK to George Clooney all rolled in one! Its only post Besharam, that he has been pulled down!

And the reason is not Deepika, as everyone is assuming...well, she too is a part😆...but its actually Salman and SRK Fans who bash him the most!

Honestly...that is what my observation has been.

They were seriously pissed off with the fact that he made fun of the superstars in his film and were delighted when the film turned out to be a Turkey! Now if Deepika fans joined hands with them, woh toh sirf Cake ke upar Cherry walla kaam karta hai!😆

But leave aside the fact that he acts like a jerk in real life (that too is actually an assumption...😊), I don't think as an actor, his capability has ever been in doubt...nor has his star status.

And its difficult not to respect him as an actor and star, when you see the kind of choices he makes while doing films...for every YJHD, he has also done a Rocket Singh and Barfi!

He could have stuck with the commerical route...but he chose not to! I really admire him for that...and infact, if I didn't come to IF this often, I would rate him very highly as a human being too or at the very least, not care what he does off-screen!😆

For this very reason, I started liking Ranveer too...he chose to do a film like Lootera at this stage in his career, while also doing something as commerical as RL and Gunday! And he has delivered in both the genres, fabulously, IMO! That he acts iditoic off-screen is quite another thing!😆

PS: And most of us do judge actors by their work and stardom, not their personal life...even if we might think that we do not! If that was not the case, then Imran would have been the darling of this forum, based on the fact that he is such a gentleman, even if he is a terrible actor and a near flop star!😆

Uncheck. For what promotions is she using the denied relationship? Whenever a journo asks her about her relationship with Ranveer, she just says he is a friend. That wouldn't help in the promotion of her movie.

Uncheck. She never said Ramji bhi thode Besharam the.

She never said her pairing with Ranbir will remind people about Raj Kapoor and Nargis.

She never said acting runs in her blood and genes and the Padukone family is the first family of Bollywood.

Maybe the day Ranbir can give 5 back to back superhits in a year along with a hit film having only him as the popular face, then Ranbir will have a possibility of becoming the next Deepika Padukone.😊
