And can I say all stars are media made. That is the very concept of star, no. Visibility and spreading a persons success, are all media works. You cant be a star if people dont know who you are. Films wont work if media makes them sufficiently vsible. WOM comes into play later.

Deepika is least bashed on this forum.

The most bashed is Katrina and her family is also not spared. Just because her family is not in limelight. Why bash them.

Despite not being Katrina's acting fan, I end up defending her.

Depends on POV: From Deepu fan's POV, Deepu is the bechari; from Kat fans POV, Katty is the battered woman here. From my POV, pyaar ke baad sabhi ko maar milte hain yahan.

She has been called everything from a s**t to a gold-digger...she has been made fun of her skin color (specific racist comments, mind you!), her height, her voice, her acting and her personal life is like a free for all here!

Look...I am not saying that Katty has not been bashed. She has been, quite a lot...but not more than Deepika! Just scan the posts in the last ten days and you will see for yourself, who is bashed the most!

Katrina is mostly made fun of because of her family background, age fudging and the Boom thing...then Deepika is also not spared because of her questionable personal life, her tirade and fawning on Ranbir, her interviews, her equation with her co-stars etc! Literally, every single inteview of hers that has been published in the last few months has been dissected minutely and she has been criticised...sorry, ripped apart, on every word spoken!

It just depends wholly on what you choose to see on the forum!

Just like you feel that Katrina is bashed the most, there are many others who feel that Deepika is bashed more.

Same like you, I had no love for Deepika, but joined in, to give supporting ammunition to Team DPad😆 That I ended up becoming her fan is another matter!
