I don't know anything about BO figures but I've seen people say that BOI and some Taran guy are the most credible ones so yea I'll go with them.

Can't take any of them seriously as one & all seem to be bought by somebody & hence give skewed figures & verdicts...😆

Taran doesn't make up numbers..or change them.He tweets whatever the producer gives him.It is very simple in his case.

BOI gets collections given by distributers and exhibitors from each territory...They keep updating and correcting their numbers.It is usually 10-12 % less than the producers figures.

The other sites post the producers numbers and also post distributors figures and they compare it to the previous statistics of similar releases and give a rough estimate...They are new and don't have a wide network.
