I think what the TM is trying to say here is that she got a raw deal in Dhoom. How many seconds was she there for in the three minute theatrical trailer? 3-4 seconds? She is not even featured in any dialogue promos. Bipasha had almost the same screen time in the trailers. Same with the posters, Katrina was placed at the end on par with Uday Chopra, just like bipasha in D2. Unlike Aish where she was in the centre of all the posters.

What is too soon to judge? I just said what are facts, is it wrong that she was there just for three seconds in the three minute theatrical. Was I wrong when I said she isn't even in the dialogue promos? Was I wrong when I said she is not the centre of attraction in the posters unlike Aish was? Nope. If I said she is doing nothing in the whole film, THAT would be judging. I'm not doing that cause I'm willing to wait till the movie releases.

And regarding your observations, Ash's character had the second meatiest role in the film after Hrithik.

So what if her Dhoom machale wasn't promoted? Neither was Kajra re. Did that stop the song from becoming a rage? No.

And she was not the solo actress? Okay, well, even Esha was the solo actress like Katrina. We all know how important she was to the film. Lol.

I ma not gonna lie... Kat does seem out of place in the movie.. she didn't even strike gold with me in new song... the song is has such bad composition, and she did nothign special with her dancing

If sources are to be believed yash raj internally is not happy with katrina.They just want dhoom 3 to be massive hit and them to be done away with katrina kaif forever.

the film journalists believe that although katrina has climbed the ladder of success but she didnt deliver her part well in those films except a few

reasons

1. Not used Jab tak hai jaan opportunity to maximum . A yash chopra directed movie has always changed the graph of any heroine whether sridevi, Juhi chawla, madhuri, kajol. karishma, Preity, rani, anushka sharma..

But katrina didnt raise any effect in that movie. it was just another katrina bad acting show.

2. Katrina was outstanding in namastey london, ajab prem ki gazab kahani, mere brother ki dulhan. She shud play those kind of roles more often as there was some substance to the role of the heroine there. she has to prove herself . But just to be a part of a big hero 100 crore movie too often like asin does...isnt worthy for her more frequently.

3. Katrina is unsocial in various cases. Film critics allege that she has been mostly stayed away from fan interaction. An actress shudnt rely that if a film is hit than ur fan base is like fixed deposit. Its more damaging thinking . Her interviews are mostly during film promotions. her interviews lack warmth. She needs to mix with the indianness..she prefers maintaining herself as an foreign import..

even a non actor like nargis fakhri stunned audience with her journo act in madras cafe.

yashraj now feels that if they wud hav signed some one else other than her.

the problem is even just being a part of succesful movie isnt enough.

producers hv various options from priyanka, deepika, sonakshi, Anushka, kareena, Vidya.

they can act as well as if required play a show piece too in a 20 minute role of a 100 crore movie.

But what about katrina?

even non actor like sonam proved herself in ranjhaana and bhaag milka bhaag

katrina has lost dostana 2 offer. Even if dhoom 3 is hit ...its a known fact katrina has to prove herself differently to survive or else the all her sweat to climb the sucess ladder will go in vain
