Ramleela began today with a magnanimous start. The film which released in nearly 3000 screens will surely mark itself as one of the year's most promising films. While a great segment of the intelligentsia will appreciate the film for its fervor and rustic demeanor, the film 80%-90% occupancy shows the reach of it on the audiences. Though the steamy scenes and the sizzling chemistry between the rumoured couple will be a crowd puller for the single screen audiences, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's work will cast the same spell on the urban audiences.

On Day 1, the film will estimatedly earn in the range of 15-16 crores. Though YJHD saw a great moolah on its opening day, the Ranveer-Deepika pairing though equally steamy lacks the adequate star value. Nevertheless the film will surely pick up in the weekend given its great hype and tremendous occupancy.

Over the weekend, the film's collections will swell. As Krrish 3 is slowing down at the box office, Ramleelawill pick up momentum. On both Saturday and Sunday, the film will earn in the range of 18-20 crores.

On Monday, the film will slowly begin the usual weekday drop. Earning in the range of 7-8 crores on its 1st weekday after Friday, it might settle for 7 crores on Tuesday. There is a mild chance thatRamleela might even tread into the 100 crore club given the good word of the mouth, but it won't be able soar away into magnanimity at box office given the kind of releases that are lined up for the month.
