All girls are getting married later, these days. not just the film industry.
thats because its just that much easier to concentrate on work when
you dont hv additional responsibilities. its plain n simple logic. its
less stressful. this is why marriage age has climbed down the
whole world over.
in the movie or model industry a complication is the proximity to
a co star which comes into play. an actor will hv to hug, kiss,
sonetimes undress in front of their costar onscreen...and this
creates problems. not just movie people but the normal person
gets jealous. thats why you hv wives, girlfriends tagging along
to shoots like kareena goes wherever saif shoots.
im all for women gunning for their dreams and pursuing their
ambition and not letting 'getting married' become their aim in
life. i love what PC Kat Deepi are doing.
and i dont agree with kareena kapoor saying things like 'people
should marry for love...blah blah..when she had to persuade
her live in lover to marry her when the movie offers started
drying up.
this statement will be more believable coming from kajol
or ayesha takia who married in their mid twenties. gave it
all up for love.
or she should follow vidya balans example and not crow about
getting married and make snide comments about looking for
tycoon. she worked, she met srk in her late twenties, she
married him and is enjoying married life and doesnt need
to make digs at other actresses who are getting movie offers.
like i said, deepi dumped a tycoon. not everyone is insecure
and trying to find a cushion for their expenses and someone to
foot their vacation bill.
