That's true Poppy, but then a lot of other stars get profit share too. They aren't that ..."professional" about promoting. 😆

But does Ranbir actually have good script sense? He seems to go for the director/film-maker that has received the most success/critical acclaim in a particular genre. Bhansali seemed perfect for the larger than life debut, Sid Anand for the candyfloss yuppie film that would make him more accessible to the audience, Shimit Amin and Prakash Jha for the serious roles to gain actor credibility, Imtiaz ali to get that career-defining role that would win awards. If you think of it, Barfi is the one Ranbir film that has been acclaimed for it's script (barring WUS), and RK has famously said none of them knew what the script was, even while shooting for the film. So when he decided to woo the single screen audience, what person would have been a better choice than Abhinav Kashyap when Dabang managed to score hugely at the BO as well as receive decent reviews from critics? I think it was a rational choice.

Ranbir is clever, and he seems to have a well thought out strategy for his career, but I don't know if he actually has any script sense. It's more an understanding of the business. Don't all the trade experts say that Ranbir is the one actor who knows about the BO collections, breakdowns, etc for every film?

@hedwig_fawkes, great perspective. I hadn't considered Ranbir's career from that angle before but it makes perfect sense. His choice of films has always felt quite calculated to me and you've just articulated why.

With regards to Sushant/Ankita, I get the feeling they're not going to last much longer. He's hit the big leagues now, and if Hollywood is any comparison, few relationships seem able to withstand the sudden pressure that comes with this level of fame and attention.

They both have denied this ..As a fan I will believe them and not this story ...
Ankita looks happy in all the SBS segments these days ...She doesn't seems to be the kind of person who would fake being happy if something was so wrong ...
