It is more about signing "high-profile" films .. than anything else ...

That's how media works...if you're a newcomer they'll write about you if you're a star kid making a debut, doing high-profile films, or if you've had your first film release and it's done exceedingly well (Ayushman).

I think it was a rational choice.

Ranbir is clever, and he seems to have a well thought out strategy for his career, but I don't know if he actually has any script sense. It's more an understanding of the business. Don't all the trade experts say that Ranbir is the one actor who knows about the BO collections, breakdowns, etc for every film?

That's an interesting perspective! I never actually thought about it that ways...Rockstar I always thought was one film signed just to boast about "look how well I can act!" because the script is ridiculous. Even Barfi isn't actually a good script film...as in the script is very simplistic that works because of the interactions between characters...the treatment. I think script wise WUS and Rocket Singh were Ranbir' strongest films...and out of all the people Ranbir's worked with, only Ayan was a newcomer ...Sid Anand was his childhood friend or something.

Yes Ranbir is quite clever and well aware of everything going on in the industry...but then I wonder...isn't knowing what will work a part of good script sense in a way? Its the kind of "good script sense" Katrina has...knowing what will work. But her films don't actually have good scripts.

if this is true then there is nothing left to be liked about this guy sushant. i liked him as he came across level headed and likeable offscreen. i never ever found him worth the hype as an actor onscreen. amit sadh and rajkumar totally stole the show in KPC.

You've got to give it to some people to use reverse psychology. We are "blind fans"..we are "TV fans"...we get targeted. Yaadi yaada. No where have I seen in this thread or other threads posts getting mocked because the poster has sworn allegiance to a tv-cum-Bolly star...it's only the fans themselves that perceive that. 😆

Anyway, I don't see why this piece of news should be seen the way others want it to be seen. Fine, ARK was treated on the forum differently, but why must Sushant be treated that way too? As far as I know they are two separate entities...they're bounded to be be perceived differently. There's no point of a discussion if we are all made to look at a situation alike.

We know Ankita is not the kind to take shit lying down. If Sushant ever cheats, she will dump him for sure. She's a strong headed girl. She's also someone who is brutally honest and straightforward. If they have some problem going on in their relationship, it will show on her face and in her behavior. She is, what you see is what you get kinda gal and incapable of hiding things. If she had slapped him, she would have owned it. Since she and Sushant both denied it, I am gonna believe them over some tabloid.

The article is quite funny though. How did Anki manage to take time out of her 16hr shoot to go to YRF studios to confront him? She lives with him so she could have done that at home and could have beaten him up even more. 😆 Conveniently, there weren't many people around when this happened except for the 'source'. 🤣 Sadly, they are gonna have to deal with shit like this until they get married.

This seems fake...They live together and the story sounds way too dramatic..I am not even their die-hard fan but still I dont think its true.
