That's the complete opposite. Bipasha did well in early 2000s till mid 2000s? I can't recall anything of her except the No Entry song till her mid 2000s. Her actual good phase started in 2006 with Omkara, Dhoom 2, Corporate and ended with BAH and Race. It was a downfall for her from then on and that is when Katrina's star gained momentum.

she became an overnight star in 2002 with raaz followed by ankhein, MYKSH, Gunaah and her star power touched new heights with 2003 hit jism! She was pretty good during 2001-2003 giving competition to others. That was her time! She had her set backs later but bounced back in 2005-2006 till 2008! after that its been pretty rough for her!

so yeah early 2000's was her time!

Raaz and Jism were hits but more for the sexual content, especially the latter. Even Sunny Leone scored a hit with Jism 2 doesn't mean she is some star. She was known as a bombshell and her item songs catapulted that image in movies like No Entry, Aankhen. Even in her first film she was just a sex doll. She really had her time as an actress between 2006-08 as she showed versatility as an actress with some good roles coupled with box office success.

it was more like kajol being the lead and jaya and bebo being supporting! both were also nominated in supporting- kareena lost it to jaya I guess!

I'm quite sure that Ileana and PC in Barfi were co-leads. PC couldn't be a supporting actress there, her role was too meaty for that.
