shilpa and kat both had no role at all! in fact kiran kher had the meatiest role. Still it was not a lead, second lead thing like you yourself explained earlier! they all were supporting cast! Katrina at least had songs- she had 3 songs, 2 solo and was shown there, shilpa just had 1 song with the rest of the cast- she was pretty much as useless as kat there!

lara and kat had equal roles- just like lolo and raveena in AAA! no lead, 2nd lead there!

urm. the one who has played most amount of 2nd fiddle roles is Priyanka and not Katrina.

there is nothing wrong with it but people should get their facts right.

she herself said she started with supporting roles- her first two roles had her as second fiddle, she came right after interval and little before climax! and these are her own words!

Katrina was supposed to be a secondary character in Race but was easily the most impactful. Similarly, Jacqueline was supposed to be the secondary player in Race2 but stole the thunder from Deepika. Given a choice, I am sure everyone would choose to go from playing second leads to main leads and not the other way around (as is the case of some prominent actresses).

some movies have such strong second fiddles that they are actually better than the lead themselves!

I still meet so many people who refer to race as saif-kat starrer!

her role was pretty impactful in that one!

I thought Bipasha's was a special appearance. Because her role was really short.

And anyway Bipasha wasn't really an established name then. Only after HDKG she had back to back success in the form of Corporate, Omkara and Dhoom 2, which established her as a star.

exactly PC admits it and is proud of it.

for example she played 2nd fiddle in andaaz, aitraaz, Hero and even today she did barfi where ileana was leading lady but what matters is that who walks away with the praise except for Hero has she stealed the show in all the movies where she played 2nd fiddle.

Special appearance what?

she had a role, she was in first hald and in the end and she had 2 songs.

also Bipasha did well in early 2000's and until mid 2000's and that is when she signed HDKG, she went downhill in 2nd half of 2000's

poor bipasha- still don't get what exactly happened

she was at her peak by 2008- Race and BAH- she played main leads in two movies and the latter earned her the best reviews from critics amongst the three leading ladies (dpad, minisha and herself) but right after that she just tanked!

even raaz 3 couldn't help her!

she had the fastest downfall- it wasn't even a downfall-its just direct kick out!

the thing is she was easily replaceable and back then new young hot girls debuted and directors got better replacements.

Bipasha even admitted that the new girls made it though for her to sustain a career in bollywood.
