According to the latest media report, lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are all set to walk the aisle next year. The duo is planning to get hitched next year after two years of courtship. The couple is going strong and hence Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have decided to take their relationship to the next level.

Ranbir has recently spoken to the media about his equation with Katrina. He accepted being in love and also added that Katrina holds a special place in his life. It is being said that Katrina Kaif is reportedly not giving any dates to her producers for next year which indicates that the diva has some special programme awaiting. It is not yet confirmed whether the couple will get engaged or enter into matrimony in 2014 but an important event will take place as per the insider.

Katrina Kaif's sister got hitched this year and it seems the chapter of marriage begun in Kaif's family.

Off late the couple occupied the gossip column when they were clicked during their private Ibiza Island. After that Ranbir opened up and confessed his relationship with Kat in an indirect tone.

In an interview when he was asked if there are people who mean so much to him that he could give up his life for them, Ranbir said, "My family, Ayan, Katrina, as she is a very special person in my life, Rohit Dhawan, who I grew up with, and Aisha Divetri, my school friend. And Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Basu, as they add a lot to my life."

He laid especial emphasis on Katrina by saying that she is very special in his life. However, later he denied all rumors and avoided questions about his love life. There were also reports that he would announce his engagement on his birthday. To this Ranbir said, "There was a report that I am getting engaged on my birthday and there is no truth in it... I am not getting engaged or married."

He further said, "When I was new in the industry I spoke openly about my relationship. I feel when you do this the spotlight is more on personal life than work. I want to protect my life. I don't want my life to become a reality show."

Ranbir did not clarify his relationship status with Katrina. He said, "I am single till I get married, I think I believe in that saying. I am going very strong with this movie ('Besharam'), I am very excited about it. That is the only excitement I have in my life right now."
