There are actresses who have debuted AFTER her, who face less criticism for their talent than Deepika.

As for this topic, She is not good as a solo heroine. Infact, Jacky outdid her in Race-2 and even in Desi Boyz, Chitrangdha was way better.

lol I don't think Enycedoll is a DP fan..other that I agree with you. Kareena and PC gave a Chameli and Fashion early in their career. Like 3 to 5 years into their career..they gave a brilliant perf in a challenging role! Deepika is past that..she's 6 years old since her first film! And her best perf is Coctail? Which she wasn't even that great..she was only impressive in the second half of the film!

Answering the question of the topic: Yes I think DP is good enough to be a solo Heroine.

She is a good actress and quite frankly i prefer her over kareena or pc anyday.

Truthfully, I never liked her during the start of her career. Movies like CE and YJHD have made me her fan. And I don't really know whether she'll be able to pull off as a solo heroine. In my pov, PC is the best suited as a solo heroine.

Yeah I think she is. I can give you countless reasons but I think if you watch her on-screen and connect with her/her character then mission accomplished.

More importantly, she is a hard worker...I think that trait alone with transform into an even better actress. I mean look her transformation from her Aishwarya (the MOVIE) days to NOW. She's much better and yes I saw the movie thinking it was a documentary about Aishu. Don't judge me. 😆

Also, she's very likeable on-screen but needs to less flowerpot roles in the future and more challenging cinema/roles.

HAHAHA! ME TOO! I hasn't a Deepika fan (leaned towards Sonam when she first debuted) and I don't know if in fan territory yet but I do like her A LOT post-Cocktail and CE. But she irritates me when she does roles like BKB or YJHD...I just don't like those characters. However, she sure has a lot of potential.

I didn't like Sonam either 😆😆 Still don't like. She is damn pretty but as an actress she's just average. What is BKB? 😕 I don't watch a lot of hindi movies. Only watch the ones that have good reviews and are hugeee hits 😆😆 Yea Deepika has great potential. She is beautiful and is a decent actress. But she needs to do films that will leave a good impression and always remain in the hearts of audiences like PC's Fashion, HR's JA and Dhoom 2, Aamir's 3 Idiots and etc...
