Ranveer, gave one hit at debut next film flopped, he managed to get Lootera, Ramleela, though the former flopped, he is still in demand and has many big PH movies!
He was good actor and he is so in news for Ramleela.
Siddharth and Varun too have big movies!

There is potential in these actors, makers want to utilize them, Only because some think, how the hell can a tv actor make it to big movies...Doesnt it look like belittling someone's hardwork and the efforts he is putting in???

Am also wondering the same thing ever since he entered Bollywood. Yes he's talented...but it's weird that for a newcomer he is working with these amazing well known production houses and directors.

Like Nikki said, its a combination of talent, good pr , lil bit of luck and excellent script sense. He wouldn't have gotten movies with YRF, Abhishek, Deebakar, Raju Hirani just because he was at the right place at the time and was lucky. He auditioned for all the parts and he was selected. It was on his own merit not because of connections. He was offered a lot of movies but he picked KPC as his debut movie which had 3 leads. It was a great script and he had a really good character to portray. He's a smart guy and knows his craft. He is interested in working with great directors and the length of the role doesn't matter to him. That attitude is gonna hold him in good stead in the long run.

His success is not sudden to those of us who have watched him on TV. Even on television, he was way ahead of other actors he was nominated with. The guy is a kickass actor and that's what the casting directors see when they watch his auditions. He's done 2 movies and both were hits. I feel like this is only the beginning. I for one, will always be cheering him on. 👏
