Well you can argue all you want, but im not sure why you are not understanding my point or what the topic is asking.

The topic states "is Kareena successful after marriage".

What is success? In this industry its three things.

1) Box office...yeah Kareena had Talash...but we have other actresses who are doing better. like Deepika and Katrina.

2) Appreciation for acting, yeah she was appreciated in Talash, but it did nothing for her career and she wasn't unanimously loved like Vidya Balan recently or Sonakshi in Lootera. It was not path breaking.

3) Media hype/star value...I don't see her "everywhere" like she used to be in 2010, I remember I went to India and she was EVERYWHERE. She doesn't command the same star power as she used to.

Nobody is saying she isn't successful. But its clear she has not "AS" successful as she was during 2007-2010 or before her marriage. The keyword is not "AS" successful. AS. A-S. It doesn't take a genius to understand that. Its not rocket science. And if you think she is more successful right now than in 2007 or 2009, then you better change your calendar because IM sure you're stuck in the wrong year.

In order to be successful you have to standout, you have to be on top. Floating by is not success. Yeah shes successful in the sense that people know her, but she had her time. The peak is over. The moment has passed. I mean look at her recent film, nobody even cares about her in Satyagraha, she is as important as Amrita Rao in the film .

And let me explain my deadline to you since you obviously didn't understand it, she has another 1-2 years to be as popular as she is. After that she will be like Rani Mukerji. Rani is stil around too, but nobody cares about her. Ironically she was also in Talash 😆 and it did nothing for her. Kareena will be in that same position very soon too.

For someone with so much emphasis on the word "as", maybe you should go back and try to understand what the topic is about.

And as Anku mentioned, she got voted #3 in sex appeal in a recent poll. Before she would be #2.

Considering she's the oldest outta her contemporaries, it's understandable that the younger ones get the sexiest tag.

Now instead of being 2, she's 3.

How much did she get appreciated for in Talaash? Quite a bit. I dont think you understand how much. SHe was the scene stealer and got nominations for best actress last year. But that was the year when all the actresses stepped up their game, so it's understandable if she didnt win. But she had not ONE, but TWO critically acclaimed performances. Was nomianted for Heroine AND Talaash.

And as for doing much for her career, do realize that at THIS POINT, it will have to be something completely incredible to boost her even more, considering Kareena's laid her standard pretty damn high. She needs to top JWM, Talaash, Omkara, Chameli, etc to be given another boost, but tha'ts highly unlikely.

Its like, how often do you hear of the KHans blowing people away with performances? Or Ajay? Or Saif?

IT's a given that they're all great actors. But to top their past benchmarks is no easy feat.

And it's silly to be expecting Kareena to get the kinda reviews hse got for JWM or Talaash in every last film that releases.

It's easier for actresses who are new or still improving, like Deepika or Katrina (does this one ever improve?)

It's easier to see their steps up, coz new performances are markedly better than last.

For Kareena, she's already up there.

And unti she does something completely hatke, she's not gonna be "all over the place" like she was with her initial career high.

Not just 2... she was #1 if I am not wrong before the new list came out? And like you said, the topic is SUCCESSFUL. Not "as". Where did the "as" come from? People do realise that everyone peaks at a certain point in their career? When they're at an all time high. Kareena had that for 5 long years post JWM. But she's very much there in the Top 5.

ofcourse she is successful. name me one married actress who remained in TOP 3 after marriage. kareena is still in top3 in almost all polls even news walle keeps her in that bracket.

I know, I know. I meant she wasn't just #2 before. She was actually all the way #1. And if it's after marriage then Bebo is #3. Which other married actress is in Top 5 or maybe even 10? That's saying something in itself about being "successful" when you have so many new girls coming in and her contemporaries being around as well.

Wow, seriously, do I have to point that out to you?

Why would the topic maker open this topic and randomly discuss her success after marriage? OBVIOUSLY because its implied that one will compare her success before and after marriage. I mean, if you cant understand that then I cant help you. Pleae re-read above if you still don't get it.

And besides, regardless of what everyone's interpretation is of the topic, I AM saying that she is not as successful as before marriage. Which is pretty obvious.

You can write all you want but you cant change reality. And as for polls, Madhuri also appears on many polls and someones even tops them. But she in no way is as "successful" after marriage. So that doesn't mean anything. For all we know these actresses might be forking over money to get their name on these so called lists and polls.
