I suppose rakhi holiday is today in some parts of india...so should we expect another decent day?...I hope so...a 4.5 cr day would do us no harm... :)

Chennai Express 2nd Week Collections

Chennai Express is yet to show any signs of slowing down at the box office. The film has almost doubled its 2nd Monday collections on Tuesday, which was a holiday for Raksha Bandhan. The total net box office collections in 12 days now stands at 192.78 crore, an average of 16 crore per day!

For all major releases this weekend onwards, whether it is Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3 or Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3, Chennai Express will be the film to beat, as theShahrukh Khan – Rohit Shetty film is all set to surpass the lifetime collections of 3 Idiots. The day we have all been waiting for, from 4 long years no less, is likely to be this Saturday!

Chennai Express Total Collections so far..

1st Week – 156.71 crore
2nd Weekend – 25.21 crore
2nd Monday – 3.8 crore
2nd Tuesday – 7.06 crore
Total Collections in 12 days – 192.78 crore

Okay, seriously! This is like awesome news...I so did not expect it to cross 4-5 crores, but damn! So glad that that the 1 free on 2 tickets offer worked in CE team's favour! That was a totally ingenious plan executed just the right way! 👏

I was all set to go for my second round on CE, but had to cancel the plan last minute. 😆

I said the total was a *little* over 192 but then I look at the BH numbers and it's 192.85. It's almost 193. How fail of me. 😆 I can't believe the movie made 7.06 Crores. That's way above what I would have predicted too.

And same! My mum had a day off so she asked me last night if I wanted to go watch CE again today. But then it didn't work out because I got lazy and my mum realized she didn't like the climax with all the fighting and doesn't want to rewatch that scene on the big screen. :(

Yes, close to 193 cr. which is beyond amazing! I'm so thankful to all the audience who made it happen, who went more than once for the movie. Ah! look at me talking like its my movie that made this much money 😆 But whattodo! SRK's success feels like my success 😳 Uski khushi main meri khushi...😳

Aww...that's sweet of your mom to ask. We went shopping and I was supposed to sneak out to the theatre in the mall, but missed the movie timings and had to 'suck it up' as suggested by my sibling when I kept whining about missing the movie. 😆

Balki planning a film with SRK?

According to the buzz, SRK and Balki are surely coming together for a film

Wednesday, 21st August 1:30 PM IST

SRK is on a roll with the stupendous success of 'Chennai Express'. After working on a variety of movies and with various directors, reportedly now R Balki had a closed door meeting with King Khan.

There were reports earlier as well that Balki was planning a film with SRK. It was also reported the filmwould bring Amitabh Bachchan and SRK together in an unconventional way. But nothing was confirmed then.

According to the buzz now, SRK and Balki are surely coming together for a film. But is it the same filmreported earlier with Big B or a new project? Only time will tell.
