Chennai Express Second Friday Collection Update for Morning Shows.

Chennai Express has almost set all new benchmark as far as Box Office Records are concerned. CE collected around 155 crore nett in first week and looks like chasing 200 crore now with elan. Chennai Express has taken a slow start on 2nd Friday at box office from early samples received Before that have to mention that CE is getting around 1600 screen from today on. That means around 1100 screen lesser than first week. Plus film is into the 2nd week. Plus, today is a normal working day.

Now coming to point Chennai Express has taken around 25-30% opening in Friday Morning shows. Delhi City registered an occupancy of around 20-25% for Morning shows. Gurgaon City registered an occupancy of 30% for the same. Mumbai City registered an occupancy of around 25% for the same. Hyderabad is registering very good occupancy of around 55-60%+ which is big. Overall picture is decent as with each show passing occupancy will increase.

Chennai Express will no doubt collect significant numbers in 2nd Friday and also in 2nd weekend. But whether it will be among all time big is another question. Moreover its Honeymoon period is over as Holiday periods are over and Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara has started making its presence felt. Finally Chennai Express is a Mega Blockbuster. It is biggest hit of Shah Rukh Khan career in recent times and that also by miles. Deepika Padukone gives another monster hit in 2013.
