• CHENNAI EXPRESS: In its opening weekend, the film has collected 9,34,118 [Rs. 8.78 crores] on 126 screens.
• THALAIVAA [Tamil]: In its opening weekend, the film has collected 1,21,249 [Rs. 1.14 crores] on 36 screens.
• NAUGHTY JATTS [Punjabi]: In its second weekend, the film has collected 2,173 on 4 screens. Total: 26,614 [Rs. 25.02 lakhs].
• BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG: In its fifth weekend, the film has collected 1,023 on 2 screens. Total: 2,63,005 [Rs. 2.47 crores].

In an interview, @komalnahta said to IBN7 that #ChennaiExpress has collected 33.12 Cr on Friday & 100.42 Cr in it's 1st weekend.
