finally an explanation how she manages to be in shape yet glow. I have seen girls losing their appeal, skin and glow in their obsession of being in shape because they simply don't have healthy diet.

I really hope kareena's tips reach out to a larger number of people who are totally ignorant about a lot of things related to weight loss.

Celebs are an idiotic lot, especially when it comes to fad diets and fitness regimes!
Look at Gwyneth Paltrow! Has anyone had the misfortune to read her blog, GOOP!😕😆 She wrote once that she nearly starves her kids by not giving them any carbohydrates in their meals, at all!!😲 Her daugher is about 7 and son is around 5 and she...an educated, western woman, with all the money in the world, forces these kids to abstain from the building blocks of our body...Carbs! And to top it all, she endorses it by telling everyone to have super-expensive vitamins and strange sounding berries and not have basic, simple and healthy stuff like whole-wheat, rice, etc!😕
How can anyone be so stupid? Even a grade 2 student will tell that we all need carbs to grown, be strong and to basically live!
I actually admire Kareena for endoring a healthy, all-rounded and most importantly, practical diet plan, which any indian / asia can follow easily! Eating roti sabzi might not sound glamarous, but it actually makes much more sense than having boiled cabbage for dinner!😆

Completely agree with Kareena here!!
Actually all this is what her dietician...Rujuta Dwekar , prescribes!!
I have read her books and they really make sense and if u diligently follow it..u do looose weight even while being on a complete , wholesome diet!
About bananas...they r a wonder food!! If u eat banana first thing in morning...u will end up loosing v good weight! coffee or tea should be had at least 1 hr after u woke up!
n Ghee...Yes it is v important and gives u a lot of glow and reduces hairfal n skin problems!!
I did stick to all these fundas which her dietician Rujuta Diwekar prescribes and ended up loosing 10 Kgs in 4 months flat 😃😃

True!! One of my friends has recently lost a total of 30 kgs and even though u may say she looks fab coz her waist size is reallly lesss n all that!! but to me sadly..she looks very weak n dull!! Her energy is all sucked out and beauty is completely gone..she is 30 yrs of age but already looks like in her 40s!!
Somehow..i cannot advocate such kinda wt loss to any1!! on top of it..she refuses to eat ANYTHING at all when we r outdoors!! 🤢🤢 i find that kinda sad life!
whats the pt of being sooo stick thin and not able to enjoy life and not look even healthy!! 🤢 but girls...i tell u!!

Even I eat everything from rice (I don't know why gave a bad name to rice in the first place😕) to these so-called fattening fruits like Bananas and Mangoes! And I take Ghee every single day, if I can't manage to include it in my food, then I simply take one spoon of it like medicine!
Have been losing weight steadily without any loss of energy or strenght!😃 (7 Kgs in 3 months!)
Rujuta is a fantastic dietician, who understands Indian body types and the way we eat and plans diets according to it, instead of telling everyone to go a carb-free or high-protein diet type nonsense!
I actually started following RD's diet plan only because of how much Kareena used to keep raving about her!😆 Am glad that I listened to a celebrity for once!
PS : Nothing wrong with having rice every single day! And if rice was the reason why people gained weight, then how come people down South of India (who eat rice in enormous quantities upto 3 times a day) are far thinner than their counterparts from North, who take a predominantly wheat based diet?
According to RD, it is not so much the food that affects our body, it is the state of mind of the person cooking it and the person eating it, that makes the difference! And ofcourse, the time factor...if you stuff yourself silly with Chicken Biryani at 11 in the night, it will go directly to your hips😆

Totally Agree here!! I also followed RDs way of maintaining health and loosing weight at the same time..managed to loose 10 kgs in 4 mnths...whereas before that my body weight wasnt budging at all!! but when i tell thsi to other girls..they r like...NO CARBS only PROTEINS!!Thanks to rujuta..i even started enjoying sweets which I had given up ages ago!! She says the best time to have indian sweets is during early daytime..so pop a laddu or barfi early morning and u will burn it off easily 😉😉 at least that way i m able to taste them at least!!😆

Nice interview.

About Rice, all depends on what specie of Rice you eat. Basmati Rice if you have a lot, you tend to gain weight. As Basmati is heavy.

If the rice size is small and watery, as much as you eat. You will not gain weight.
