again... NOT AT ALL
better accept the fact that Madhuri has over taken and left sri MILES behind since mid 90's till now in ALL ASPECTS, and her popularity graph is getting higher n higher with each passing day...while sri is stucked where she was in 1996 (Judaai days)

she nailed the character, but was not responsible for the lackluster script, flat direction and loose screenplay... makes sense ?

btw, she has the MOST HITS then anyother bollywood actress on her credit (incl. sri ...and got MAXIMUM nominations for filmfare awards... won more best actress awards then sri)

SRK has more best actor awards than Big B,aamir so going by your logic he is better than them 😆

lets talk about their body of work.
Madhuri has many performance oriented movies on her credit... while sri's comic timings are always OVER-RATED for mr.india (thanks to extra ordinary shekhar kapoor)...while Madhuri was equally good with her comic timings in KHEL and YARAANA.

u r comparing apples with oranges... my logic ends with sri and madhuri... how can the same logic be fittin with another totally different set of people/gender.
Sri just has lamhe , sadma (mainly kamal haasan movie) and chalbaaz as great performances (chandni and gumrah were above average) while Madhuri got Prahaar at the very early stage of her career, also sangeet and Parinda... not to forget Pukar, Lajja, Beta, Anjaam, Mrityu Dand, Devdas, prem granth etc ..

besides movies, she excelled as a person too offscreen and is an inspiration for millions...while sri's offscreen image is a BIG ZERO.

Didnt she read the script before signing????

And if filmfare awards are your criterion for judging the joke is on you...

Scripts NEVER show how the movie will SHAPEUP and will be translated to celluloid.
when she had filmfare, it was quite a credible award... (early and mid 90's...when even aamir was attending every function until 1996)... the corruption started from post 2000.

Not to mention her highest Govt level award Padma Shree for extraordinary services for entertainment industry.

Scripts NEVER show how the movie will SHAPEUP and will be translated to celluloid.
when she had filmfare, it was quite a credible award... (early and mid 90's...when even aamir was attending every function until 1996)... the corruption started from post 2000.

Not to mention her highest Govt level award Padma Shree for extraordinary services for entertainment industry.

If awards werent corrupted in 90s trashy performances in KKHH,RH,DTPH wouldnt have got best best actor/actress awards😆

so u mean she was not good enough to get awards for Dil, Beta, Hum aapke hain kaun (anjaam was also nominated), dtph, devdas ...?
and someone like kajol deserves all awards for her screechings and OTT shoutings in k3g, kkhh, ddlj, and especially Mnik ?
and karshma for her routine filmi acting for raja hindustani 😕
