Madhuri > Sridevi.

She was better at every aspect of acting and completely blew Sridevi out of the water when it came to dancing, a huge part of being a Bollywood actress.
Madhuri has an ATBB HAHK where she was the hero of the film and blockbusters like Beta, Raja and Saajan where she completely overshadowed the heroes and carried the films on her shoulders. While Sridevi has a few of her own such as Chandni and Chaalbaaz.they are nowhere close to Madhuri's body of work.
Sridevi, while very popular came nowhere close to peak Madhuri assisted by her blockbuster numbers from "ek do teen" to "dhak dhak" to "choli ke peeche". Madhuri was the highest paid star in the early 90's, she got paid more than the heroes of those time.
She's easily the biggest female bollywood star of all time.

Happy that she is atleast in the top 10. She is one of the most versatile actress according to me.

I agree with your point but for me its her voice. She was the giggling idiot in movies much before Aishwarya. Most of her performances were ruined by her voice and her giggling like a fool. Some of her songs are divine cos some singer is singing for her. She ruined that Chandni song by giggling in that too. Her accent is horrible. Like Hema Malini or Deepika who get lots of flak for their accent , Sridevi too had a bad voice modulation and Southern accent. I agree she was a good expressive actress with Sadma being one of my fav movies.

If they know Dilip Kumar, then how come they don't know about Sanjeev Kumar. 😆

Personally I think all old Kumars were over-rated - Dilip,Raj, Manoj and Rajendra. Also Raj kapoor. I think its the era they worked in and it was such dramatic acting. Can't stand to see any movies before Rajesh Khanna's /Sanjeev Kapoor's/ AB's/ Dharemndra's.

sanjeev was a brilliant artist, but it stops there. too dull😆

dilip, rajesh khanna,amit, shah rukh for me.

amit takes the cake tho.

madhuri is my all time fav. but i don't think she was paid more than sri.

I think Sridevi is better than Madhuri, but forget both of them.

There is someone that I think should be on the list that should be higher than both Sridevi and Madhuri. Which is Aishwarya Rai,, there is no way Madhuri could be ahead of Aishwarya.

Sridevi and Madhuri "MAY" be better in acting but The amount of impact, international acclaim attention, and success Aishwarya has achieved is unattainable and unhead of. Until this very day shes considered to be on top.

Someone mentioned Madame Tussauds saying Madhuri got there first before Sridevi. If we are going to use that as an example, how about you do some reseach and find out who the first indian woman in Bollywood to be honored with her wax statue

Even if they want to place Madhuri and Sridevi higher because they are seniors Ash should def be up there in Top 10 along with Rajnikanth.

What's so great about BIG B??🤢 I never liked him as a person neither as an actor! I just don't get this all him being greatest actor!! He is so boring !🥱 Anyways, I think I am the only who feels this way about him because clearly everyone thinks he's the great so I am the odd one here lol!!

Neither I think Madhuri is a great actress! Yes, she is a great dancer, but as an actress she is good, Not the best IMO! Sri is better actress than her IMO.

Raj Kappor is overrated as well!

Agree with the rest of actors in the list though! 😛

Aamir Khan & Madhubala ( though, her career was short due to her illness, but she was the best actress in those times and is known as the most beautiful actress ever happened in BW. Her craze was everywhere, not just in India and the first BW actress approached for a role by HW too) should have been in the top 10 along with Meena Kumari!

When I was searching the greatest actresses who were legends from the starting of BW, Meena Kumari, Nargis and Madhubala were the top names always mentioned there.

beg to differ here...madhuri is the better dancer but sridevi is 10x the actress madhuri is...sridevi had comic timing to do roles like mr india (the charlie chaplin impression is pure cinematic GOLD...i havent seen another actress who can do that with such finesse), chaalbaz (which basically ran on her shoulders despite having sunny deol and rajnikanth in it)...infact she was the first mainstream actress to have such an amazing comic timing...

she had the intensity to match stalwarts like kamal hassan and amitabh bacchan in films like sadma and khuda gawah with pure acting chops and completely overshadowed accomplished actors like anil kapoor and rishi kapoor in Lamhe and chandni...not to forget films like gumraah...

even a B grade film like Nagina became a superhit merely due to her presence and her dance numbers...kaate nahin kate, main teri dushman, naa jaane kahaan se aayi hai, hawa hawai, nainon mein sapna, morni baaga ma, mere haathon mein were a rage at their times...the dhak dhak number of madhuri's was originally sridevi's popular number down the south, which was then remade in hindi...yes madhuri is the better dancer and possibly had more popular dance numbers...even sridevi had popular numbers...but sridevi blows madhuri out of the water when it comes to versatility, conviction and choice of roles/performances...she was the reigning queen for almost 2 decades...

and im not even mentioning her work down the south...

she wasnt called Lady amitabh in the 80s for no reason...
