i dnt think there should be a list for those actors...dilip at 2nd doesnt seem right nor does rajesh khanna being at 9 and defo nt raj kapoor...why nt jus keep it simple as actors tht hav left a mark in the industry...no number format

Replace it with Minority Hema and Sridevi had the worst accents, their voice+the accent sound as if they are having an orgasm. No point of argument. And Madhuri was always recognized and acknowledged than Sridevi their twitter and facebook pages are the biggest proofs😆

And did you even notice the overwhelming responses Madhuri got for her Online dance academy? Go to her wiki and look at her past credentials then you will get to know about her body of work.

Neednt Justify Madhuri's talent,persona, her charm, ...she's loved by many and still a working women like many mothers...I wish she enjoys working the same way and we too.

The fact that you have to bring up Sridevi's personal life just proves that you have lost your argument.

Why are we talking about Sridevi's personal life when the man that has won this poll is much worse of a person. How many affairs has Amitabh had? How many lives has he destroyed?

Plus your Madhuri isnt that great of a person either. Lobbying for roles and sucking up to anyone she can just to get a role in a movie. And all those nasty stories of what she used to do when she was single. I rather not get into that.

If we are taking into consideration the personal lives of this movie stars, then the list would be empty.

So i wouldnt go there if I was you. Come up with a better and meaningful argument next time. Or better yet, go watch one of Madhuri's chest pumping item numbers. Since thats all she can do.

Think whatever you wish too, keep defending your "srrii devi", But Acting thoroughly means perfection, perfection in Acting/Dancing and Dialogue delivery. I think Madhuri had a Mixture of all of them,. She never trembled or fumbled while delivering her dialogues, her voice modulation was perfection. Her hindi was fluent, to understand a character well the actress should communicate properly that is the foremost rule! Even if you argue Madhuri din't deserve to be in the first position, i would say nor does Sri deserve to be in a higher position, Bcoz her Dialogue delivery was the biggest flaw and her voice modulation OMG she was so Loud.

Look at Actresses like Vidya Balan and Rekha, they are south actors too but look at their dialogue delivery and perfection in Hindi? I would rank them Much higher than Sri. Just Bcoz Sridevi did movies South as well as Bollywood that doesn't make her the better or a greater actress, coz end of the day Quality matters not quantity😳

Please don't quote me back with illogical excuses like "Sri did n number of films/She was a super star down south/She acted with XYZ super stars of all the eras etc etc. I am fed up hearing the same lame excuses!

According to BOI Madhuri was getting paid twice as much as Sridevi in the mid-90's and had taken over Sri as early as 1991.

Shahrukh Khan - 60 Lakhs
Sunny Deol - 50 Lakhs
Madhuri Dixit - 50 Lakhs
Govinda - 40 Lakhs
Salman Khan - 40 Lakhs
Sridevi - 25 Lakhs
Juhi Chawla - 25 Lakhs

These were your top stars of the early mid 90's and as can be seen clearly, Mads got paid more than pretty much everyone. I don't think anybody has captured the nation's imagination in the way Madhuri has. She had everything, dancing, acting chops and sex appeal for the zillions of male fans which I believe Sridevi lacked in.

Regardless, there's no right or wrong answer. They're both great superstars, it might just come down to your preference.
