Ramaiya Vastavaiya Leads D-Day at First Day Box Office Collection.

Ramaiya Vastavaiya leads over D Day on the first day at box office. Although both film collections are on lower side. From early estimates, Ramaiya Vastavaiya has collected around 3.5-3.75 crore nett in its opening day, whereas, D-Day has collected around 2.75-3 crore nett. This are early trends and hence, final figure may vary. Both film registered limited jump through the day. Both film registered an occupancy of 25% for the first day, which is below par.

Audience reports for both the film is mixed. A big jump is needed for the films on Saturday and Sunday to collect decent in the opening weekend. Both the films has got significant release at box office. To have a healthy opening weekend figure both films needs a healthy number for Saturday and Sunday and let's wait and see whether the films can show some in roads or not.

Mumbai - 1.20 crore

Delhi/UP - 61 lakhs

East Punjab - 20 lakhs

West Bengal - 12 lakhs

Bihar - 13 lakhs

CP Berar - 29 lakhs

CI - 16 lakhs

Rajasthan - 28 lakhs

Nizam - 20 lakhs

Mysore - 9 lakhs

Others - 12 lakhs

TOTAL - 3.40 crore

My brown Manager.. well like he's half Malyali half something else whatever.. he called me and he's like Pulwasha do you know that guy's name in Ramaiya Vastavaiya movie? and I'm like blank at that point of time.. I go ummm he's a new guy he is Kumar something but I don't quite remember his first name.. he's like the guy's so good.. and he sneaked into some of the movie..😆 It was so funny because I was in such a hurry to leave for home.. he called me before too and I said yeh and then forgot.. he called me again he's like I'm calling you listen to me.. and then this is what he asks me.. Jokess..😆

Btw I did peep on the poster and it said his name is Girish..😆

Eventhough its a remake, but still it has got d same charm of those movies... Have to say Girish rocked ... nd he acted really well despite being new to this industry..great attempt from his side. nd shruti asusual was amazing. Great movie indeed

I watched it.

I give it 3. Girish was quite surprise. HE was actually good. And as I predicted Maine Pyar Kiya + HAHK + PKTDK khichdi. Instead of wealthy father, it's the bitchy mother (Poonam Dhillon). Shruti was the most beautiful thing in the whole movie. Also the fairy tale sets. Most supporting cast from Sonu Sood, Vinod Khanna, Poonam Dhillon, Kantaben lady, Randhir Kapoor - all were good and lovable at bits. MUSIC - Jeene Laga Hoon & Rang Jo Lagyo are superb tracks. Cinematography was best so far for a Prabhudeva film. At bits some dialogues and scenes seems forced but still a sweet entertainer.

If you like old school romantics then must watch this.
