K V Anand confirms Alia Bhatt for Dhanush!!

Veteran director K V Anand and Dhanushare all set to begin the shoot of their upcoming project soon and the director has revealed that Alia Bhatt (who debuted with Student Of The Year) could be the leading lady in the film pairing opposite Dhanush. While K V Anand has earlier said that that pretty actress didn't have the required dates due to her other commitments, it nowlooks like the actress has worked out a way.

Director K V Anand posted on his Facebook page "How many of you like Alia Bhatt? Hope you will see her in Tamil industry soon! Wait for my official announcement." The rest of the cast and crew of the film are also expected to be announced soon. The buzz in the industry is that Anirudh may compose the music for the film.

KV Anand's previous movie Maattrraan had a decent outing at the BO and as for Dhanush, he is on all time high with his Bollywood debut 'Raanjhanaa' that release recently becoming a hit and the much awaited Bharath Bala directed 'Mariyaan' soon to hit the screens.

That's nice! :) Alia and Dhanush will make a super cute pair. Sad that its only in Tamil, I wish they make a bilingual :)

ohhh plss, m sure Alia will have nothing meaty to play in d film, becos firstly she doesnt know hw to act and secondly, hw will this girl match Dhanush's performance ?..

i mean whats wrong wid d director ?..

Dhanush is a gurantee hit in south, so m sure its not a loss for alia atleast becos its obvious that she managed her dates now after seeing Dhanush's reach and powess.. but still, she cant act and doesnt deserve to be in d film if its a performance oriented role.. ...
