Yes, he's not seen everywhere tooting his own horn like the Arjun's and the Ranveers but in no way, shape or form is he a failure.

Another thing that many overlook is that both kidnap and luck were films signed even before the release of his debut movie and they finally released only because his debut movie was a big success. So what this means is that whatever he has signed post Jaane tu is a success barring MKBKM, which again wasn't your regular commercial fare.

He is far from failure, in fact he is right now the most successful actor among the current generation. And before YJHD happened he had more success than ranbir too. All that with rank newcomers as directors. That he is though of as failure surely says a lot about him being underrated. Add to that he isn't in media 24*7 for all wrong reasons. He just does his work sincerely and moves to next project. This attitude will sure help him continue with great success in future. 😊

I don't think he's a failure. I would wait at least a few more years before writing him off... I think he might be able to come back if he has a hit

I think he really needs to improve his acting. His interviews that I've read make him seem like an intelligent person and pretty likable. I liked him in Break ke Baad. Hated the film and he was the only thing that I liked about the movie.
