A lot of legendary names on this poll however, we must realize that the voices of Kumar Sanu and others don't really match with the path music is going today. Even Sonu Nigam is at times sounds out-dated

My mom told me that Lata M. practically destroyed Anuradha's career and stole a lot of songs from Asha Bhosle too. She used to monopolize the singing industry when she was on top and told top music directors that she wouldn't sing for them ever again if they hired newcomers. Thank god, Vishal-Shekhar and SEL are bringing forth new singers and giving them a chance...even though I miss some of the old singers, the new ones are stunning too.

vishal shekhar uses most of shreya ghoshal and sunidhi chauhan...its AMIT TRIVEDI who gives chances to the new comers. and Anuradha paudwal made a good career for herself in singing bhajans. she has been the face of T-series since many years. her bhajan 'man mera mandir shiv meri puja' is so successful u can hear it at every holy place or a nearby stand. even if she couldn't make a singing career she definitely had done a lot of better for herself. ITS her daughter kavita who couldn't make a mark
