Well this time Soonam takes the cake. Soonam has really improved & she played zoya perfectly. Whereas Deepikas role in YJHD was nothing different, it was easy. YJHD the movie is actually boring without the songs.

There was nothing new in Deepika's character. I feel like all her rom-coms tend to be the same. However, her as Veronica was way better than Sonam's Zoya.

But if I had to compare b/w the 2 choices provided above then hands down Sonam as Zoya. She had that zest like Nandini in Hum Dil, a very memorable performance by Sonam for sure. She needs to pick unconventional roles like these.

Both were really good and the improvement showed, but an extra point for Deepika because she didn't have any problems with voice modulation.
