Shortcut Romeo is the biggest disaster of 2013. The occupancy was so low on it's opening day that shows had to be cancelled, as no one turned up to watch the film.
A multiplex in the Mysore circuit was running 3 shows of Shortcut Romeo, 2 shows had to be cancelled (zero audience) and collections from one show on Friday was less than Rs 1,000.
The film was extensively shot overseas and a lot of money was spent on marketing it. The cost of production was 15 crore and about 7-8 crore was spent on print and advertising. Unfortunately for the makers, even 10% of money spent on P&A is unlikely to be recovered from the film's theatrical run.
