I actually would disagree with you for the most part, I was quite conscious before the trailer but after seeing it, my opinion changed. I think it looks very entertaining DP totally has improved a lot and is doing full justice to her role, from what I saw in the promo.

SRK is trying something different, people here on IF are always complaining he doesn't and now that he is, I don't see the reason to complain. I think we really need to cut some slack and give him a fair chance.

There were a lot less "flying cars" that you mention in the trailer than what we have seen from RS in the past so that's a good thing. I think RS needs to be given a chance to try something different too, I think this may work out actually.

From what I know and have seen, the trailer has been well received for the most part, many people's opinions have changed from being worried about the film to actually be excited, I think it will work.

Rest, it's too early to say. I would rather refrain from already making up my mind that it's going to be terrible, it may surprise us- the trailer definitely has. I had low expectations but it was surprisingly very good and paisa vasool types, quite entertaining.

Ya , the very 1st dialogue of CE trailer - My self Rahul , 40 saal ka ho gaya hoon .

He alread accepts this thing there so there is no logic to say him he is too aged personality .
Now coming to judgement with role as per their personalities, everyone was saying that Vidya Balan lacks that Oomph factor needed for "Dirty Picture" but due to her hard work , everyone knows what happened 😉

He is a damn hard-working man who will never overcome things which r lacking him in to go with the role , like he isn't a good dancer but after watching Dil to Pagal hai , its hard to accept this fact that he cant that . He always does appropriate judgement with his characters 😊

Well karan, firstly if you bakra fans stop feeding ghaas to each other and come back with more appropriate way of responding. Secondly, this forums is filled with various fan groups. Jaise har ek competitor, personally attack nahi karta waise har ek member, hakla bakra fan nahi hota

It is good that the trailor is confusing so in that way it does not give out the story much (if it has one!) I am no fan of Rohit Shetty's films..The whole Golmaal series sucked..dint find them funny at all!! I liked only singham but again that was a remake of a south indian film. SRK looks good in the trailor and Deepika is the best part about the trailor!!

I disagree with everything you said. Especially the title song, it's very very catchy!

I too wasn't that interested in the movie, especially after Ra.One & JTHJ, but seeing this trailer has actually gotten me excited about an SRK film.

I think it was Deepika's cute little accent that did the trick. I was so effing chuffed to see her attempt----or even be ASKED to attempt---something that made her seem more worthy to be given all these lead roles than just looking "pretty" but to actually use her wit and talent to contribute to the film that I fell in love.
The fact that SRK looks really a hundred times better than he did in JTHJ is certainly helping too!

I do agree with one thing though; the title track. I guess I'm in the minority who finds it annoying

I agree...only SRK can evoke a reaction like this. 😆
Personally I liked the trailer. Now lets see what they do in the future. I give credit to UTV for making the film seem a fun film. They similarly had piqued my interest in Barfi thru the trailer though the film was of a completely different genre. I was negatively inclined towards both films before the trailer release.

I liked the promo. Rohit Shetty's movies are entertaining. I liked the Golmaal series and Singham. I hope CE is better than the crap like Ready,Ra-One and Body Guard.
