Raj Kundra Caught Selling Shilpa Shetty DVDs At Railway Station
Published on June 9, 2013by aladdinOld Delhi. After sending bouquet on her birthday and trying other gooey techniques learned from Govinda movies, Raj Kundra has taken a whole new approach to pacify his Bollywood actress wife Shilpa Shetty who is miffed over his alleged involvement in IPL betting.
The RR co-owner has decided to appease his wife by selling her Yoga and other DVDs at the Old Delhi railway station. Early morning he masqueraded as Raju and put his one table stall, dubbed Raju DVD Center, of pirated DVDs at the Exit No. 2 of the Old Delhi Railway Station.
Everything was going well for Mr. Kundra until Natthu from Natthu Tea Stall recognized him and yelled, "Oye, Yeh to Shilpa Shetty ka Pati hai (Hey look, he is Shilpa Shetty's husband)." Mr Kundra's anonymity worked in his favor as the people around couldn't remember his real name, and kept addressing him as "Shilpa's husband" for more than a couple of hours.
"I have been selling tea on this gate since last 20 years, and saw a new guy on the Exit. I called him and offered a tea," said Natthu. "Me and Munna were discussing about Rajdhani's delay and till when it may get extended, to which this new guy popped up and said "I bet" it would be between 5-6 hours," Natthu went on to add.Natthu and other people of the vicinity recognized Mr Kundra when he was trying to bet over the timings of morning's Rajdhani Express, which was already running late by 4 hours.
The phrase "I bet" drew suspicion towards his identity. In order to confirm whether it was him, Natthu asked Munna if it would rain, to which Mr Kundra (masqueraded as Raju) said "I bet it would rain today". This had confirmed his identity. Suspicious Munna went to his stall and saw that it was full of Shilpa Shetty DVDs, including "Shilpa Shetty Yoga Techniques", "Chura Ke Dil Mera", and "Shut Up and Bounce".
Before getting caught, Raj Kundra made a significant success in the pirated DVD selling, and had already sold 20 copies of "Main Aayi Hoon UP Bihaar Lootne" and "Yoga-se-Hoga with Shilpa".
