I watched Aashiqui 2 Last night...

It was a good movie..an emotional movie...but..

amount of Complexity in the story...and in the characters and depth in characters were all spoilt by the leads...it was sad ..

Recently I watched this English movie called "Flight" by Denzel Washington...there are lot of similarities in few scenes between ARK and Denzel ..regarding their weakness of drinking...obviously comparing Denzel to ARK is not justice to ARK coz Denzel is seasoned Legend...

but My problem is not with ARK...but the big deal he is made of in Aashiqui 2...he was 100000 times better in YJHD !!!!

I thought he was one of worst things in Aashiqui 2...like if a movie had a potential to be 10...he made it a 4 with emotional disconnect his acting brings...even her acting !!

So what am I missing here????

Movie was definately good...and had a lot going on...music is excellaaant !!

So i am not only one but i guess he will improve but yes i feel he is being overrated as in i disliked his performance because i wasnt able to connect i liked him better in gujarish

yeah..even i found him pretty average in A2. with some more experience n right directors, he will improve.

I have no idea how its suppose to be judge but in my POV i really really like the movie except for the ending it could have been better as for their performence ARK was good but not his best he was better in Guzaarish also and for Shardda Kapoor i really really find her cute and gorgeous and performence wise she was way better in luv ka the end but its just the starting am sure they will get better and better my best wishes with them as cuz both r down to warth people!

So am not the only one who is annoyed by the hype? This world makes sense again. I haven't seen the film but from the reviews both of the actors in this film got bad reviews. And judging from the promos ARK's acting looks mediocre.

The movie was strictly average infact there were many loopholes, and ARK was pretty good not brilliant, although i'm sure he will improve in the future

I think this has been discussed before, its been quite a while since the masses got to witness a love story after all these masala movies. So that heart broken drunkard played Aditya appealed to everyone hence everyone is going gaga about him. The film was strictly ok, this guy has potential, lets hope he gets some good movies.
