Which suits us just fine, because when we were told that he was in an adjoining office on Wednesday, in the building where the Mid Day office is located, we invited the actor over to HiTLIST for a cuppa. He promised to swing by once his agenda was done with.
We waited and waited, until finally impatience took over and the team left for the day. Later, the phone buzzed with a message from Deshmukh that he was finally in our office.
While we had left, Riteish kept his word and met up with the rest of the Mid Day team. We're impressed by his humility. Papa CM should be proud.

Who's your daddy?
Leaving his sombre, sophisticated look behind, Amitabh Bachchan is sporting a completely new look in Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.
The credit for this makeover goes to Manish Malhotra, who has designed the look for the film. In this particular picture, Big B looks flamboyant in a white leather fur jacket with a tangerine polo T-shirt and funky glasses. Bachchan plays a super rich character, and this is probably his most colourful character yet.
Malhotra has used a lot of rich fur jackets and a totally wild colour palette ranging from pinks to bright reds for his character. Guess AB Jr will face tough competition from no one else but his big daddy.
Ishaa in no work mode
After her brief stint in Farhan Akhtar's Don, Ishaa Koppikar seems to have developed a taste for quality cinema. The actress has been on a roll rejecting the regular Bollywood roles coming her way.
Recently, she said no to Sanjay Gupta and Suneel Darshan for their films. This has only added to the chagrin of the filmmakers. A little birdie informs, "Both Sanjay and Suneel have been grumbling about Ishaa refusing their films."
However, the petite actress has maintained a stoic silence over the matter. Didn't our makers know that Ishaa is Hollywood bound, now that she's hired Ash's international manager Simone Sheffield?
Kahani Munna ki!

Far from picking up from where the original left off, the sequel is completely disconnected from Munnabhai MMBS.
Of course, Munna and Circuit reprise their legendary roles, but the rest of the characters and situations are new. Vidya Balan plays Jhanvi, a radio jockey that Munna's lost his heart to, while Boman Irani plays Lucky Singh, a rich builder who is hell bent on making life miserable for the lovable goon.
The battle between Lucky and his nemesis Munna has all the ingredients of a rib-tickling laughathon, as Lucky pits himself unsuccessfully against Munna.
The twist in the tale comes when Munnabhai comes face to face with Mahatma Gandhi (played by Dilip Prabhawalkar) and both stick to their own philosophies even while they are compelled to work together for the same goal.
