Scoring 19.50 cr from Plexes & SS performing good, audience won't be brought from Planet MARS, as Dabangg 2 is just 5 months old movie 😆

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawani Hain Diwani got a fantastic opening and has earned a whopping 19.45 crore on the first day itself. It has emerged as the biggest opener of the year 2013, breaking the records of Ranbir's previous releases, Barfi and Rockstar.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani released in 3000 screens and received a huge amount of advance ticket booking. However, it failed to beat Salman's Dabangg 2 mind-blowing record by a small margin. Dabangg 2 continues to be the biggest opener till date.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has successfully replaced Rowdy Rathore to become the second biggest opener on a non-holiday.

This movie is doing exceptionally well all across the nation and is also breaking records overseas!

ranbir is still relatively new, it took salman over 20 years to create this level of superstardom so you cant expect ranbir to create it in a few years. he still has plenty of time and when he gets older and can no longer pull off young characters or romantic films he too will start doing movies that get seetis and applause. salman didnt always have this, people have only beein going this crazy for him for the last couple of years
