Dabangg 2/ETT Day 1 i guess is Safe... Every Other Non-Holiday/Holiday films are in Danger now for Day 1... and it is working day... Sat/Sun will be more huge.

Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has had good 60-70% opening at single screens. The opening is not as huge as the multiplexes but that is expected as the film is not an action or mass film and the male lead Ranbir Kapoor is just ten films old and it takes time to accumulate a following in the interiors. For Ranbir Kapoor it is his best single screen also while at multiplexes the film is beating his previous starrers by leaps and bounds. Still the opening at single screens is on par and even better at some places than films like Don 2, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Talaash and Housefull 2 which all featured established big stars.
The film has been released on around 3100 screens across India and with a 90-100% start at multiplexes and 60-70% at single screens the film will have a huge first day.

15 cr day 1 for me would be acceptable... at least my Akki's RR Day 1 Record will be safe... but if it touches near 20 cr... i would be disappointed coz both RR & Ready my Non-Holiday fav. films... itni jaldi record... but it is understood...

Ranbir is becoming salman's biggest rival now cos salman is the audience fav while ranbir is the critics fav + his movies are now doing good business too ,salman is breaking records while ranbir is taking awards,also the katrina factor 😆 Its a do or die for SRK,aamir,hrithik this yr !

RR = 2700 Screens

Ready = 2400 Screens

No Doubt YJHD got advantage of No. of Screens plus immense MEDIA + WOM behind it, which Ready didn't have, while RR was having little bit.
