Thats fine! Records are meant to be broken. One day SRK broke someone else's record now its someone else's turn to beat his records. Records come and go but the place a star creates for himself among audiences will never go away.

I think you are mistaken. Media is saying he will break only first day record of many stars. To break lifetime collection record of D2 or RR or even JTHJ/Ra1 the film has to be good as its non-holiday.

I don't want any new star to replace any SRK's last 3 films records so soon... He is No.3 Star from India in my view... i can't see his last 3 best films which has that much Total, could be easily broken by new upcoming star just coz MEDIA Pushing it...

Akki/Ajay films i can understand... but not SRK... 100 cr for YJHD i myself has said so many times... But CROSSING even Ra.One or Don 2 or JTHJ, i would never wish so soon.

They ain't comparing with RR[135], Ra.One[114] or Don 2[108]... They are directly putting comparison from D2 & ETT... so if Initial itna BUMPER MIND BOGGLING hua hai & ENDING if it is even below DON 2, it will be disappointing, n will clear as MEDIA Was Hyping it so that it could do wonders, actual audience was not.

he has a lot of time and age to beat khans !!
who knows after 10 years RK might set new records 😉
and amir,sallu took 20 years to set those records and ranbir is just starting !
so lets wait n watch ...
coming to akki n srk
even though they are releasing during holidays , i don't think its going to break all records or set new records since they are going to eat each other business !!
CE n OTIM will have less openings than jthj n RR

The lifetime collections will be difficult to cross. YJHD hasnt got a 2 week clear release plus its non-holiday. But yes the buzz is tremendous so looks like its set to be huge opener. The last SRK which actually set records was Ra1 because of a solo Diwali release. But opening day on Diwali is always less and its bigger on Day 2. So SRK's actual record is 23 cr in single day for Ra1. Lets see if it crosses that. But I want it to beat Race2 and become biggest opener for 2013.
