I think it is still a grey area. There is debate about it but Indian judiciary is yet to give gays right to adopt though the community is fighting for the right.

K Jo is not going to make adoption popular. Sushmita Sen already did a lot for it. K Jo will only add to the efforts - which is of course positive considering to what crazy lengths Indians go for their "own biological child".

If he's serious about this then it's indeed a good move. Finally something sensible from him!

Hope he will follow his heart this time.

Though majority of Indian minds still dont accept sexual preferences of people and but respect god believing he is the one who create all of us.

I suppose one day such immature lives will meet people , have sons and daughters who have such preferences, then we can see how they gonna insult their own blood.

There is nothing wrong in people with different sexual orientation adopting kids. I asked only to know if it was legal or not. That's all.

While adopting a child parents have to tell everything about themselves. He needs to make it clear what he is and what he's not. If he has lied to authorities about his sexual orientation and law of the land has not yet given right to such people to adopt kids then it is wrong. Rules shouldn't be bent for one person alone.

Sadly mindset is not changing anytime soon. Parents kill their kids or commit suicide if they find out their kid has different sexual orientation or they simply disown the kid.

Society has done nothing to remove stigma around them. They've only been made butt of jokes or forced into prostitution or compelled to commit suicide which is despicable.

I wish just as some prominent personalities abroad have recently come out of the closet and accepted their sexuality in front of the world, similarly Indian ones should also come out - without any shame. It would be one honourable gesture.
I'd salute those who accept what they are, without any guilt.

i don't think there is anything to do with adopting a child or being a gay. can't a straight man adopt a child if he doesn't want to marry ? 😕

True you need to be financially secured to take care of the baby. the adoption people are not that easy to deal with. only Celebs have the power !

its like his bday wish everyyear ..but he gets scared to commit to a baby..and he is so busy.. his mom is almost 70. the baby will be mostly with maids..

i have a feeling the parents will come after the baby after years..for money or something.😆😡

maybe someone should just gift him a pet next bday..THAT mayb easier. and he wont feel so lonely too
