No, I wouldn't say Karisma fits int his list. She may have taken the initiative on her own and worked her own way into the industry, but her whole family had ties to the film industry. I'm sure at least 1 member in her extended family was by her side. I wouldn't call Karisma a self made star with all the family connections she has.

SRK was born to very well educated parents, but they were very middle class.

I will not consider him poor when he enter the industry, he was the poorest. They lost all their wealth due to his father's illness and then they sold their home to finance her moher's illness.

So when he is starting his net value was zero with his ill sister.

I wonder why didn't they include AB sir? Stupid mistake.
