Kids generally graduate high school in the US at 17 or 18. Getting into college at 17 is nothing out of the ordinary, since kids usually accept admission a few months before graduation.

No university is above taking money to admit people - as long as the prospective student is from an elite background that will benefit the university and it's image.

American Ivy leagues are especially known to accept people from rich alumni backgrounds even if they fell short of the grades.

Even Biritsh Universities bend the rules for rich alumni, and high profile students. Oxford accepted Emma on an exchange program even though the school Emma attended is not a part of the Brown-Oxford exchange program.

Having said that Sara is probably clever, both her parents were/are smart, Saif and Soha received extremely elite education, and you can tell. If she's 17, she can apply to Universities for the next academic year, so it makes sense that she would have already been accepted.

I applied for Uni's during my A2 year when I was 17, I got accepted and knew where I was going when I was 17 as well. However I started uni when I was 18. It's perfectly normal. Some people even start Uni when they are 17 depending on which half of the year their birthday falls on.

With Early Admission, getting into a University at 16 isn't anything unheard of either.

These kids have a shit load of money and get into Ivy leagues by means of their wealth while we have to work our asses off to get those crazy high SAT scores...😡..and despite getting into Columbia..she'd rather join films and probably leave Columbia half way? 😕 Didn't Saif want her to focus on her education just a few months ago? what an easy life these kids have. 😆

He said she won't be leaving before finishing lol.

Btw, Sara is known to be quite smart. Last year when asked about Sara's plans he was proudly saying how she's quite smart and that she topped in science for her age that year.
But Ibrahim is the opposite. They're just hoping he manages to find his way lol

17 isn't big. I got into uni at 17. But I always thought 16 is somewhat rarer...especially given that Columbia is a top Ivy League.

But people have said she's smart again and again, so its possible I guess.
